Oxon Hill resident Maverick Miller, 33, and Clinton resident Jujuan Hunter, 31, are facing multiple murder charges in connection to the fatal shooting of Tyrone Jones in early July.

According to police, at around 10 a.m., on Saturday, July 6, officers were called to the 800 block of Southern Avenue in Oxon Hill, where they found Jones in a parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was treated and taken to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Investigators say that the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute and Jones knew Miller and Hunter, who were both charged with first- and second-degree murder, as well as other related offenses.

Both men are being held by the Department of Corrections without bond. The investigation into Jones' murder is ongoing.
